Today’s blog is a little different. I want to take a moment to share a foundation that is truly about the team. St. Baldrick’s Foundations consists of donors and volunteers who funded more than 21 million dollars last year to fund childhood cancer research. As you can imagine more research is needed to assist with the quality of life issues, family coping skills, and supportive care for these childhood cancer patients.
This year I am participating with Policy Studies Inc in fundraising to increase awareness, support care research and be another spirit who leads from the heart. Cancer is the number one disease that takes the life of innocent children. If you can imagine, each year 160,000 children worldwide are diagnosed with childhood cancer. There are five 2012 Ambassador Kids who will represent the 160,000 children. Let’s send them all our prayers and support.
