I want to share with you someone who appeared behind my house. It is the wise and playful coyote. I read an article just this weekend in our local paper that gave a website to visit as we have been having many human/coyote interactions. After the link it said pick up sticks and stones and throw them at the coyote. The first thing I thought of was the phrase I sang as a child…”sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never harm me.” When we get signs from the animals, pay attention. So I am sharing the purpose of this animal and why he shows up.
Power of Play! Last night my husband and I woke to hear the howls and high pitch cackles of the coyotes. They are very family and pack oriented. One will hunt while the others wait. When the cries are heard, the pack comes to hunt and/or help. So the question for you is what is going on in your life? Are you allowing others to help you vs doing it all by yourself? Is their chaos in your life and you are being reminded to be more child-like in awakening your creativity and artistic mind? Are you making things to complicated or seeking out the simplicity? Are you isolating yourself or being part of the family or community?
Tis the season, give to yourself a gift. Let go of being too serious and know that anything is possible. I know that we heard and saw the coyotes to remind me and my husband that cooperation with another party will aid us in accomplishing a positive result. We know how important the task will be and the most efficient manner to handle the situation.
