Black Friday is the Friday after Thanksgiving in the US where people run to the stores
hoping to get the best deals on their holiday shopping. Some go to
check out the best sales while others make a true race of it. I was
so surprised when I heard some retailers
were going to be open on Thanksgiving night such as Toys ‘R’ Us
and our local Outlet Mall where they gave away $30,000 in Thanksgiving
Night Giveaways! I cannot imagine what the sales
staff must endure during these twilight sales.
I personally get nervous when the shoppers come out and get aggressive and rude.
This year I thought I’d share an online Black Friday Sales page so you could
spare yourself being crushed at the door. http://bfads.net/

Last night the announcement was made that a legend in our technical community had passed away, Steve Jobs. Isn’t it amazing that in 1984 Apple was launched and look what this one man has done to transform computers, then music with the ipod then computing again with the ipad. I want to say thank you to him for blessing us all with his vision and creativity.
Recently Steve was speaking to graduates at Stanford University. I want to share his message as I feel it is important for each of you to hear.
“Facing death brought things into focus. Your time is limited so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma, which is living with the results of others peoples thinking. Don’t let the noise of others opinions drown out your own inner voice and most important have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They already know what you truly want to become. “
I ask each of you to send your thoughts and prayers to his family and remember that because on this man, we have the most amazing technology at the tips of our fingers.
This week it is important to listen to hear what our intuition is trying to tell us. Let go of the outside world and do not let the chaos outside of us take control. It is also important to focus on creating a balanced life. I like this picture as it demonstrates that the woman can trust so much in her intuition that she is able to be blind folded and walk with grace. This week work on trusting your intuition and not looking to the outside world for confirmation. This week focus on balance. Be present and take the time to focus on giving and receiving equally.
